Peter L Brown and Associates was established in March 1982 with a staff of one.

 

Since then, the company has grown to become one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerages in regional New South Wales, with a staff of 25 and offering a range of insurance broking services to individuals, small to medium retail & commercial businesses, farms and large organisations/corporations, from our offices in Wagga Wagga, Tumut and Griffith.

 

We employ 8 senior brokers who are experienced and qualified to provide professional insurance advise and service to you. As well, unique to a regional broking company, we employ dedicated and experienced claims officers who will assist you with getting claims settled.

 

We have connections with all the major insurance companies and underwriting agencies. We deal with other providers of specialist insurance schemes thus enabling us to be able to place just about any type of insurance required. We can even place specialist insurance into the London insurance market & Lloyds.

 

We are one of 38 brokerages which make up the Austbroker Group, which is recognised as one of the largest insurance broking groups in Australia. Peter L. Brown & Associates Pty Ltd is a member of the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) and was awarded NSW Regional Broker of the year in 1998. We are also a corporate member of the Australia & New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

 

Our role is to work with you and provide you with service and advice on general insurance. We act for you and not the insurers and we have a vested interest in ensuring that you are fully and properly protected against losses that could damage your business. We have connections to associated companies who can provide additional services—property valuers, risk management surveyors, OH&S advisers, and premium funders.
